Synergy Efficiency Solutions (SES) carried out an Energy Audit for the facilities of PT. South Pacific Viscose . The goal of the audit was to analyze the plant’s energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy-saving. The onsite assessment included visual inspection and analysis of power and steam generation systems as well as energy consumption equipment such as compressed air, lighting and HVAC, process and material production.

The energy audit report concluded that the total cost of implementation of the energy efficiency measures would be USD 4,7 million. The overall savings per year from the implementation of all 10 ESO’s would be USD 1,9 million for a total simple payback period of 2,4 years. This represents a total of 8% of the total plant consumption.
