Synergy Efficiency Solutions (SES) carried out a Design review of the cooling and lighting systems at the Ciputra Group Citra Towers. Citra Towers consists of two office towers, each 30-stories high, integrated with a 5-stories retail podium between the towers wit a total gross floor area of 90,188 m2.

Scopes of work

SES was responsible for providing a design review of the Cooling and Electric Lighting systems.  

Cooling Design Optimization

SES developed a concept design of a centralized cooling system with a significantly higher efficiency than the baseline design. This design resulted in reduced overall CAPEX budget for the HVAC system and reduced operating costs for the new system. SES’ scopes included:

• Cooling Load Calculation 
• Cooling System Design Optimization 
• Feasibility of Sub-metering of the Cooling System 
• Assistance in the Procurement Process

Lighting Savings Identified

• Annual operating costs for lighting were reduced by 31%
• IDR 4,669,514,448 CAPEX reduction via SES’ optimized design
