Synergy Efficiency Solutions (SES) carried out a Detailed Energy Audit at the Plaza Indonesia Complex in Jakarta. The purpose of this audit was to understand and analyse the current situation of the facility in terms of cooling production and distribution for its different areas (Plaza Indonesia Extension (PIE) and Plaza Indonesia Shopping Center (PISC)), as well as the ventilation for the parking area. After analysing the current performance of the installed system, energy saving opportunities (ESOs) have been identified to reduce energy consumption.

Project Result: By implementing all of the energy efficiency measures suggested, Plaza Indonesia will reduce its electricity consumption by up to 5%. The total investment for this particular energy efficiency project, is 707,777 USD, with a simple payback period of 3.5 years and would lead the annual energy savings up to 2,176,810 kWh (205,000 USD)
